Pochard Ducks - Cuckmere - 27.1.2015
The Cuckmere river runs along behind a man-made bank, the top of which can seen above the feathery reed heads. So the meadows are a couple of yards lower than the high-tide mark. The house is on the far side of the river, behind which the road into Seaford climbs out of the valley.
