Stave Hill arches

Stave Hill arches
Stave Hill is a small mound in the heart of the Rotherhithe docklands. From its 'summit' one gets good views across London, especially towards Canary Wharf. I expect that these colourful name boards, over gateways into the park, have faded by now. Even in 2009, when this shot was taken, they needed a shot of Photoshop to restore their brightness. While Photoshopping, the backscene was posterized - for better or worse.
