Little Egret - big beak -Newhaven - 25.9.2014

Thanks, Paddy. I was waiting for the Newhaven Swing Bridge to open, for a coaster to dock, and I saw a couple of Little Egrets, one was up on the woodwork that protects the bridge, not doing much, and then there was this little one being very territorial about a small puddle on the shoreline. So this shot was taken downwards from the riverside path, with the sun coming from downstream to the right. I am pleased how it worked out. Thanks for dropping by, it has reminded me of your charming landscapes with that watercolour effect you create so well.
