It's amazing looking at this. I remember them as a child. When an aeroplane went over it was always a German plane or a Spitfire although I think in reality it was probably neither as I was about four at the time !

This is a small museum with a lot packed into it. It is actually quite hard to take photos of individual planes as they are packed so close together. I took my eldest grandson, who lived in Southampton, there a couple of times. Its website is at www.solentskymuseum.org
