Foxglove
It has taken me 5 years to grow this to flowering from seed.
It is one of two surviving plants from a packet of seeds.
A cottage I lived in in England once... had many many Foxgloves and I love them.
I hope you enjoy the art work

I tried it with wild lupin seeds from Spain to England - didn't work - and the reverse with runner bean seed from England to Spain - this time I got very lush greenery but no flowers set and thus no beans!
Trust me.. very little that works in England .. works in Oklahoma. Temps and drought ..... and I live on sandstone. This was a real surprise. I lovingly nutured a Hollyhock too.. and the 3rd year it looked the part... and the gophers took it off at the root. Apart from drought you have to be careful re any watering as it brings in the snakes !
I have been here 10 years.. and an SO DAMNED HOMESICK !!!!!!
Flowers setting... the Pear Tree this year was covered with flowers.. got no fruit... no bees came toll too late. I heard from many and varied folk that bees everywhere had a tough year to start.. so.. dont give up on your Runners !
Another gorgeous collage with wonderful details of these pretty blossoms. I adore the spots, as I can see you do too. A treasure of a flower for sure. You did a very nice job with this fabulous collage, as you always do! :)
..........wünsche noch einen schönen Nachmittag, ganz liebe Grüße Güni:))
