What a find! In my experience moorings have many quirky details, mirroring the lifestyle of those nomads of our waterways.

This was my first time walking through the Lisson Grove Moorings (the gate had been locked on previous attempts). You're right about it being a quirky, ecclectic spot -- much more so than Little Venice just to the west of here, which is tidy and ship-shape.
