There are many sand pits around Sulejówek. Some are deep, some are shallow, all are dry with trees struggling to survive at their borders. Some of them are one hundred years old, remembering times when sand and clay (from numerous clay pits) were used to rebuild Warsaw and nearby towns after WWI.
I have a hard time explaining to my dog why we can't go there now.
Theoretically dog-walking is allowed but as at least a half of our municipal police
know that we have a garden large enough to accommodate any dog's needs
while in lockdown
so our options are limited ;/

My dog loves this place.
Not so much as the Glinianki swamp, though...

Once in a while my dog makes a practical joke placing herself unexpectedly in my otherwise arranged frame. She smiles and tells me: catch me if you can :)
If I do it instantly then she is out of focus.
If I try to adjust the focus then she is no longer there ;/

Making a decent portrait of my dog is bordering Mission Impossible ;o
Two days ago we went for a dog-walk to an unexplored nearby forest (in Sulejówek!) and she liked it so much that she allowed me to take this shot (and several others, but this is the best!)

The only thing that is sharp about my dog when I shoot her is her fang... ;o

so she laid down and smiled cunningly...)

No Happy Fence from me today, folks.
It's All Saints' Day - Solemnity of All Saints does not go well with HFF.
So yesterday I put some grave lanterns and fresh flowers on my Dad's grave.
I didn't dare to ask if he liked them. He always preferred pink and purple ones ;)
But as he visits me in my dreams at least twice a month,
I am sure to be subjected to his opinion on my choice of colors...
one of these nights... :o
