I am testing an old Russian (Soviet) MTO 500mm f/8 mirror tele lens
(borrowed from a friend).
It appears to be a good choice for street portraits :)

500 is good - you are too far from the subject, you can approach to 3-4 meters and use 120

500mm is good for me - subject are totally unaware of being shot :)

Yes, it is... I am worried about my sturdy Manfrotto tripod.
I am thinking about procuring a four-wheeled support for the lens ;)
