Marta Wojtkowska club has replied to Marko Novosel clubthank you!
You used a graduated filter, didn't you?
Marta Wojtkowska club has replied to Leon_Vienna clubIt is Olympus XA's magic :)
BTW - I don't think that the tree is a willow.
Have you seen the album?
Leon_Vienna club has replied to Marta Wojtkowska clubDepending on the willow: of course I can't be completely sure. Your captures are artistic, but not throughout useful in determining trees. ;-) So I am "only" (let's say 95%) fairly sure about it: it is a crack willow (german. Bruchweide), Salix fragilis. Unfortunately there's no polish version of the wikipedia description, but the english one is hitting the point. I let DeepL translator translate the first few sentences into polish (and the retranslation to german was satisfying): Salix fragilis to drzewo liściaste średniej i dużej wielkości, które szybko rośnie do wysokości 10-20 m (rzadko do 29 m), o średnicy pnia do 1 m (3,3 stopy), często wielopniowe, o nieregularnej, często pochylonej koronie. Kora jest ciemnobrązowa, grubo popękana na starszych drzewach.
Salix fragilis on wikipedia ... just read and decide at the location on your own. We live in times of life long education - why actually doesn't ipernity receive any EU support?? ;-)
All the best!
Marta Wojtkowska club has replied to Leon_Vienna clubHaving read it I am 95% sure that you are right :)
The general description, the shape, the bark - everything matches.
Now, I do not remember its leaves... but it is something I may check on site.
Maybe this weekend... or one of these days ;)
But I'll do it, I promise :)
Cheers!
[on Saturday] weather changed, it is dark, it is raining...
[update] Sunday was totally hopeless. I had to postpone any outdoor plans :(
Leon_Vienna club has replied to Marta Wojtkowska clubIt was the same over the weekend here in Vienna. But for me - and all the rest of nature - it was a great relief! First rain since almost 20 days, nightly temperatures finally WELL below 20°C (not only around or even above!), day temperature halved - lots of reasons to stay inside and read a good book. ;-))
Marta Wojtkowska club has replied to Leon_Vienna clubLeon_Vienna club has replied to Marta Wojtkowska clubI am trained garderner - not continously working in that profession, but still and always interested in most of the belongings. I like trees very much and sometimes, it is just fun and pleasure, setting myself a riddle. Thank you for joining in!
