It certainly is a different style of roof Carol, I’m sure I’ve seen roofs like this on my travels - Dutch or maybe Scandi something to do with not having the weight of too much snow … fat chance on the levels ;-))))

You're quite right Maggie............the blossom is gorgeous. Despite the grey sky the light is quite beautiful too.

I wondered about the roof as well. I had a quick look online and it does look vaguely similar to the Dutch style gable roof.
