Das Bild ist Geschichte, aber trotzdem sehr beeindruckend.
Leider wird sie so nie wieder aussehen. Segel sind nicht mehr vorgesehen.

Ich fand es passend auch zu zeigen, wie sie unter Segeln aussah

Thanks a lot, Chris, we are taking good care of ourselves and the situation here is rather well handled. We are deeply concerned about the situation on the other side of the pond, Corona, the fires on the west coast and the Hurricane season. Take care and stay safe.

Certainly appreciate your concern on our behalf Lutz. We will probably get a good deal of rain out of Hurricane Sally. Fortunately, we live between two mountain ranges and they seem to protect us from a lot of the bad storms. Just wish some of Sally's downpour could be channeled to the blistering fires along the west coast. It's been quite the year for excessive weather and everything else going on right now. Be glad to have all of this behind us. Both of you stay safe and healthy.

Hätte jetzt eher auf den Fliegenden Holländer getippt. Aber mein Fachwissen zum Seewesen ist als Binnenländer halt etwas beschränkt. ;-)

Ein wirklich tolles Gemälde und dass Du es grad jetzt hier zeigst, find ich noch schöner!
Wusste nicht, dass keine Segel vorgesehen sind...dabei wollt ich eigentlich zu all den Fotos der Heimkehr immer dazufügen, wie sie wohl unter vollem Segel aussieht!
