An extra photo from me today especially for theMacro Dreams ✨ challenges group, theme Yellow. I've been stealing stuff from my wife's sewing cabinet again :-)

Tabletop photography. These would normally be worn with a steampunk type outfit, round the base of a top hat, just above the rim. I found these in a charity shop, they are actually made of plastic, with a horrible faux-gold colour........but by converting to black and white I was able to give them a more metallic look.

Tabletop photography. I found this leaf on my lawn last Friday after some heavy winds..........and I thought it deserved to have it's portrait taken :-) Photographed using a cheap LED light panel as background. I'm starting to get in the autumn mood, so this will also do for the Macro Dreams ✨ challenges group theme of that name (and it also fits in previous challenges: Leaves, Autumn Leaves) Best viewed large on black if you have time. Also known as a Solanum Lycopersicum Moon....a rare phenomenon which only occurs once every two or three hundred years when the regular moon briefly changes it's appearance. I was lucky enough to be standing in my garden when it happened. It lasted for only a minute or so before it disappeared and I was left wondering if I'd been dreaming. Have a good Friday everyone!

Taken for the Macro Dreams ✨ challenge: Theme - Biscuits. I didn't want to do the usual type of biscuits, so I went for mini dog biscuits, the type you can get loose from some pet shops. As I don't have a mini dog, or any other kind of dog for that matter, I had to go and buy some. They won't go to waste as my older daughter has a dog and he'll be getting them later today. These are a little over twice life size. They should also fit in the previous challenges: Multiple, Something Rough, Multi-Coloured. These were captured using in-camera focus stacking to maximise depth of field. I enjoyed taking these so much I've put another three versions in the PiPs, if you want to look at them.

I picked all these up in the car park at the back of my house last Saturday to photograph indoors. I think I have succeeded in getting a good autumnal colour palette. Best viewed large. Thank you for looking.

This my entry for the latest challenge in the Macro Dreams Challenges group. The subject is "Furniture Leg". This is part of the leg of a small table that sits next to my armchair and holds a table lamp, a couple of books and my Kindle..........and a space for my coffee cup. Taken indoors in natural window light, using in-camera focus stacking. I even polished it up for you to show off the grain in the wood :-) It will also fit into these challenges: Circles or Curves, Lines, Stripes or Ridges.

I thought I'd share a bit of colour with you all today. I took this shot indoors in natural light using a sheet of craft paper as my background. Thank you to everyone who has visited, commented and/or left a star on my photos lately. Always appreciated. I hope you all have an enjoyable weekend!

Most of the fallen leaves are pretty wet and soggy nowadays, but I rescued this one from a puddle the other day, and brought it indoors to dry out and photograph, just because I like the colours.

I've been exploring my wife's sewing cabinet again (while she was out) and found these strange wooden painted beads............so of course I had to take a photo of them :-)) Please view large.
