The light panel give superb detail Keith. The colours are gorgeous. They could be incorporated in an autumn or Christmas wreath for the door, if you're feeling 'crafty' :-)) Anyway, this works well and I like it a lot.

Thank you very much Rosa.........the Led panel is great for this sort of subject. I'm really pleased you like these shots.

Funnily enough, I bought these in HobbyCraft........in the Xmas crafts section, so what you suggested in exactly what they're supposed to be used for. I won't be making any wreaths though :-)))

It's a fascinating place, even if you're not a 'crafter". A friend of ours once called it "HobbitCraft" by mistake and that's what the whole family call it now :-)))

Wow, Keith that is a stunning shot (PiP ain't bad either!!). The only thing that could've impressed me more is if you had saved the lime from your G&Ts, sucked them dry and then got round to the slightly less serious business of photographing them ...

Thank you Maggie........I'm pleased you like this pair of images so much. You're very kind as always.

It's a great idea, but my days of drinking G&Ts (with or without the slice of lime) are pretty much behind me now, sad as that is :-)))

A striking mix of geometric shapes and colours, Keith. An excellent idea well realized.

I though the limes seemed eerily symbolic, too, and then I realized thet reminded me of medicine wheels:
www.ictinc.ca/blog/what-is-an-indigenous-medicine-wheel

I don't think you have medicine wheels in the UK, though, so they probably didn't play a role in your creative process. I suppose it's a good example of how everyone sees a photo differently.

I'm really pleased you like these John.......thanks for saying so..!!

You're right, I'd never heard of medicine wheels and I don't think we have them in the UK, but now you've mentioned them I can sort of see the symbolism.

Thank you for the link..........it's quite fascinating and an interesting read. I've bookmarked it to read again in greater depth later as well.
