A serene and calm landscape. A curious comparison with the month of December and the evolution of the small lagoon. It is also curious that the coldest winter temperatures began in March. Best wishes, Anton.

Thank you Anton.........I'm pleased you like it and that you took the trouble to make the comparison. The field is normally used for horses, but they've had to be restricted to the other end until the dryer weather arrives.

Even the trees look as though they are shivering! Beautiful though

A slightly surreal look to this. A few snow flakes hit my face on my Sunday afternoon walk!

There is a bit Colin. they're forecasting snow for the week ahead, but I think it will be mainly in the North and Northeast........I hope the weather gods will leave us southern softies alone :-)

Wow it's certainly different from the other picture you took. More water which has since frozen. It really was cold then wasn't it? I hope your week ahead is a good one. I also hope that the snow doesn't come here neither, although the weathermen have said that snow it to come to Devon!!!

The perfect time of year to see the beautiful shapes of the bare trees! I love the single fluffy cloud and the soft colours of the sky Keith. The water looks a tad cold and icy, which adds to this beautiful shot. Thanks for the link, which although taken not that long ago, has a very different look......just as lovely though :-))

Der Vordergrund wirkt fast schon unwirklich. Ich musste erst zweimal hinschauen. Ich mag besonders die alten Bäume mit ihren knorrigen Ästen.
