It's a lovely little pub which does nice simple food at a reasonable price. It's very quiet on Mondays.

I do like to see locally made beers. So much better than the kind that's imported. I haven't been in a pub for quite a few years now, but my ex-husband used to be a Guinness rep and sometimes we would go into a pub and we'd see all the various beer pumps like this.

I very rarely drink nowadays Jenny...........usually just special occasions if I'm not driving. I've always been a lightweight as as far as booze in concerned though :-)))

Just choose... I am more a red wine person...

Beer is not for everyone............I enjoy the odd glass of red wine too.

They make a great picture Keith. Isn't it great that pubs now do a good cup of coffee! Especially for me, as I don't like alcohol.

Yes.........I've been eyeing them up for a couple of visits now.......but this was the first time no-one was standing at the bar and I was sitting at a table with a good view.

The pub seems to be a popular stop for tea and coffee Rosa..........which I think is becoming the norm nowadays - during the daytime in the week anyway.

Oh, that looks very tempting:-) You caught the line-up beautifully! I guess pubs have to offer tea and coffee these days to survive.In former times when you asked for tea you at best got answers like "we don't usually do teas..."

Glad you like it Gudrun. I think you're right.........not so long ago it would be unthinkable to order coffee or tea in a pub. The pubs have to adapt to survive!
