The Royal Oak and The Old Mill At Low Tide
Taken from the end of Langstone Village High Street, looking out over the harbour. Don't be fooled by the sunshine..........it was eye-watering cold at around -5 degrees C, and quite windy, but a nice walk nevertheless.

You've probably seen images of this pub and the mill before on my photo stream..........it is one of my go-to places when I don't have much time. On this day I had a couple of hours to kill while my wife had a manicure.

Exactly! In the summer months people sit outside on the seats and pavement as well.

I would normally have popped in for a hot chocolate, but I had to go and pick my wife up from her manicure appointment.

Glad you like it Rosa..............and yes it would be a lovely place to spend an hour or three. There is another good pub a five minute walk away......both do good food as well.

I would normally have popped in to sit beside the fire with a hot chocolate to warm up, but on this occasion I had to go and pick up my wife from her manicure appointment.

As to the cold, I don't blame you. Although I've been out it hasn't been for too long and I'm avoiding the very early mornings.
