Star Anise

Star Anise
Tabletop photography - having a play with my macro lens and some Star Anise.

Trying out the in-camera focus bracketing feature on my camera which combines multiple images taken at different focus distances to give a resulting image with a greater depth of field than any of the individual source images.

I think I need a bit more practice yet........but I was reasonably happy with this one for a first attempt.

It looks pretty good to me Keith. I think I have this option on my recently purchased camera. I haven't got fully to grips with it yet, nor have I been far to practice. Hopefully very soon though.

Cheers Rosa...........I'm pleased you like it. I spent this afternoon (Sunday), trying some more, but I'm not getting many keepers. I need to do some research I think.

A great attempt here Keith. The mono also suits well. Would be handy to have that fixture on the camera -something that I don't have on mine. That being said I have had a go at multiple exposure focus bracketing via software. Well done.
