I found these in my wife's sewing cabinet and thought they'd make a good image for the Macro Dreams ✨ challenges group.

Challenges: 3, End on, Multiple, Circles or Curves.

Nouchetdu38, Jörg, Colin Ashcroft, Dimas Sequeira and 17 other people have particularly liked this photo

I thought they were specialist cheeses at first!!!!

I can't say I see the resemblance Andy..........apart from the shape :-))

Well, to me they look exactly like the packaging for French and Spanish artisanal cheeses, often made from goat's or ewe's milk. The shape and labelling are very similar!!

Surprisingly (to me) you're not the only one Andy...........Jean Paul (below) has made a similar comment.

To be fair I don't see too many French or Spanish artisanal cheeses.........but now I know what to look for :-)

They can be utterly delicious, if a tad expensive. But then they can be equalled or bettered by cheeses from the UK, I'm pleased to say!! (And their packaging and labelling does look very similar to these, at least until one reads the labels, or tries to eat the contents!)

This is something that is very familiar to me Keith, as my sewing machine is hardly ever put away. I can tell that they are all quite old reels of cotton and I'm sure I still have similar ones.
A great idea for your challenge. Andy's comment made me laugh ;-))

Have a good new week Keith.

Thank you Rosa...............Jackie doesn't do a great deal of sewing nowadays, but she still has an amazing amount of stuff in her cabinet, which she keeps "just in case". That doesn't include the three sewing machines she still has..............one of which is an Elna Lotus, I bought her for our first Christmas after we got married.

That was a generous gift Keith. I still have my "portable" Frister-Rossman bought in Swindon 1975. It's heavier than my much newer one though ;-)) We always need a "just in case" cupboard ;-)

En bon Français, j'ai d'abord cru qu'il s'agissait d'une collection de boite de fromages. C'est trés joli aussi. L'armoire à couture de ton épouse renferme des trésors

I'll tell my wife what you said..............I usually call it junk :-)))

NO !!!!!
When I was a kid these were treasures, adding a sardine can on top it was a car and pulling it with a string we were happy. Well, I never enjoyed girly things, so I was a "master" in constructing cars with waste.
