Nectaroscordum Siculum

Nectaroscordum Siculum
Taken in my garden. Also known as Sicilian honey garlic and Mediterranean bells. I'm now waiting for them to finish flowering and form seed heads, which is when I think they are at their most beautiful. Watch this space :-)

Perfect shot with great bokeh. I love these flowers. they are like a floral chandelier and the delicate colour is beautiful.

Thank you so much Jean. They've nearly all finished flowering now so I'm just waiting to photograph the seed heads and I can also collect some more seeds for next year.

Could the next stage be any prettier than this Keith!? We will wait and see :)
I took some pictures of this plant last year, not knowing what it was, and I have never shown them. I love the colours, bokeh and framing.

Thanks Herb.

The Olympus 40-150mm f2.8 is the best lens I've ever owned (including from when I used Nikon kit), and the one I use most often. I have a 1.4 converter for it as well which gives me a reach out to 210mm (420mm full frame equivalent).

I've love the 300mm f4.............but I'd have to sell one of my kidney's for that :-))
