Lovely capture. I love the way they are always keeping an eye on things. They could give a few lessons on being alert.

Thank you Jean. This one was dashing about like a mad thing...........I had to stalk it for ages until it stood still enough (and in a gap in the greenery) to get a shot!

A lovely clear shot Keith. I love the way they always look at you with their bright eyes.
Our resident blackbird brought its offspring down yesterday. I Haven't downloaded my picture of it yet, but if it's OK I will put it on here later.

Glad you like it Rosa.................my wife had to pick up some shopping in Waitrose so I had 20 mins to myself in the church yard. I was lucky to find it, but had to stalk it for ages to get a decent shot.

Looking forward to seeing your blackbird shots!

Love these blackbirds Keith and you have caught him spot-on. The greenery is a bit-light green :) but that is to be expected on the garden. As Rosa says -their yellow ringed eyes have a special attraction too.

Keep well. Herb

Thank you very much Herb....................I nearly always find something worth photographing in this particular churchyard and it's normally a pretty quiet place even before the pandemic.

I'm guessing it was listening for insects, but it could quite easily have been fairies :-))
