A successful forager as he seems well covered and is keeping an eye on you in case you have food as well as a camera.

Nice eye contact. We have up to 5 Blackbird trying to feed on berries in the front garden. There are still some berries left but going fast

Good capture Keith, with the ground being so soft there are plenty of worms to pull out for the blackbirds.

Nice to see him Keith. I must admit to having a love for blackbirds. Unfortunately the local dreaded magpies have nearly wiped out our population here. Great capture.

I love the singing of these wonderful birds. They sing even during the night and raining. They never repeat chorus and are unable to jump. I don't like the state of my car when they sleep right on top of a branch. What do these animals eat? Pens ?

Ha, ha...............I always try not to park under a tree, especially overnight :-))

Such pretty little birds, and what a beautiful song they have. This is a lovely picture Keith, showing what they do best...no bird feeders for them, just foraging on the ground!
Is that a memorial to an animal you had in the background?

Thanks very much Rosa. What you see in the background is the base of a bird-bath which was donated by my neighbours when they moved house. It's a bit worn and battered now, but it still serves a useful purpose.
