Happy Fence Friday everyone.

This was taken in Southsea, Hampshire. You can see the top of the lighthouse and part of the castle walls with the Union Flag flying.

I used to visit South 60+ years ago, Keith, but I can' remember this scene. The only thing I really remember is the shingle beach on a steep slope, and the Guinness clock in the gardens along the esplanade.
Belated HFF and I hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Glad I brought back some memories for you Amelia...........the beach hasn't changed: it's still shingle and still slopes towards the sea. I don't remember the Guinness Clock....although apparently they were several of them in use as mobile adverts and they were withdrawn in around 1966.
