Fire Hydrant Sign

Fire Hydrant Sign
An old-fashioned sign spotted on the wall of a house in Langstone Villiage, Hampshire. I like the different blue tones and the hint of rust.

You have a keen eye for such things Keith. It's lovely, and we just pass them by normally, without a second glance. I like it very much.

Eine tolle Entdeckung, Keith! Ich mag diese Farben und den Rost. Aber das Besondere in dem Bild sind die kleinen Pflanzen, die sich dort eingenistet haben!

A bit of rust always enhances a photo, as do the plants!

I also like the plant.
I recognise it from a wall in my Mum's garden but I forget the name (Is it eye-bright, not in flower? I could have got that completely wrong!).
A superb shot and well spotted.
