I really liked the shape of the tree and the colour of the soil in this image. I know there is a pylon and some wires which could have been cloned out - but I really don't mind them in this case as they're not at all intrusive.

Oh, nice find, Keith! I love the shape of this tree too. The brown field with its furrows that run into the tree are so effective! They also point out the bright green of the field next door, which highlight the trees in the distance. The pylons, as you mentioned, are no bother, since they are seen last and do not detract from this super view!

Until I read your notes I didn't even notice the pylon....the landscape is eye catching enough! I like the gently rolling hill where it looks like the remains of a crop cut down (?) I have to agree that the tree is a lovely shape. A beautiful South Downs view!

I too never noticed the pylons until you mentioned them Keith, and as you've said yourself in this instance they don't detract from what is an exceptional shot! :)
