The lock gates. I had to balance in the middle of one set of gates to get this shot of the other set. We were just starting to lose the light by then, so this was one of my last few shots.. Please view large, on black.

The canal system's a great place for photography as you so ably demonstrate here Keith. It's also the best way to travel slowly and just be - well until you come to the next flight of locks!!

Thank you Maggie. The locks always look like hard work............but I have noticed that most of the work seems to be done by the female crew member, while the bloke watches and drinks beer..!! I'm not sure my Boss would let me get away with that..................
