Deteriorating Classic!

Deteriorating Classic!
Rover P4 110 series. According to the DVLC this one was manufactured in 1961 and has been off the road since 2013. I won't say where I saw it as these cars can be valuable, even in this condition.

Nice little video showing what it would have looked like before this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSYOuSmSd0Y

Blimey!! Cool find! I think the rear doors on these things opened arse about face, if my childhood memory serves me correctly. Such a cool beast of a car. My Old Man owned one for a while when we were tots.
Incidentally, the Rover factory at Longbridge has been reduced to a shopping centre, a college, and a huge estate of miserable-looking affordable houses that will be slums of the future.

Definitely worth a good few quid, and a lovely shot. A lost brand...along with Woolworths and so many others, lol. Quite a shame.

A fabulous find and beautifully presented Keith. Looks 100% original and I'm sure could be a great project car for some lucky enthusiast. I do hope it gets a good home! :)

This one slipped under my radar but most pleased to eventually find it. .
An excellent presentation, Keith. Those P4s were the envy of many people and it is a pity this one has not been kept in a garage. The chances are that it will continue to have a long life and now never depreciate in value.

Thanks Neil...........glad it finally showed up on your radar screen and that you like it. Next time I'm over near where I spotted it I'll have another look and see if there's been any change.
