Maybe not a well known song, but it has haunted me since I was a teenager so now you guys get it lol.

The lead singer is David LaFlamme and someone said this in the YouTube comments:

"David LaFlamme was in a hotel that had a pop picture of a girl and the eyes were gone; either by vandalism or design. Whatever, we got a classic out of it."

Not sure if it's true, but that would certainly explain how this song came about, so of course I had to create this picture in Photofunia to go with it. Now maybe my eyes can sleep. I love this "Baroque Pop" style of music from the 60s.

"Girl With No Eyes" from this Californian group "It's a Beautiful Day" off of their classic, self titled album from 1969.

Inspired and faved work for 'Soundtrack to Life', Karen. I have been checking out 'It's a Beautiful Day' on YouTube :-) Just been listening to "White Bird" that I do recollect from all those years ago :-) "Girl With No Eyes" is new to me......yes, I like this track already :-) I am checking out Amazon as we speak :-) Photofunia is also new to me and I will be checking this out as well :-) Thanks very much for posting, Karen.
