Barn, Saginaw Highway
On December 26 I repeated the previous day's mistake, shooting pix of birds with the Finepix camera. Mayhap I thought finches would cooperate better than sparrows.
So I got in the car and drove around the local farms, shooting barn pix in pursuit of something to post to 366 Snaps. Found some interesting barns on a road I rarely travel. Here's the best, framed by a fine tree.
The "outtakes" folder has two versions of this photo. The other's a softer treatment which shows more detail on the shed and less everywhere else. While I'm not entirely certain this version's better, its sharp-edged details are more interesting.
==========
The photo I posted to 366 Snaps was of a railroad crew, doing who-knows-what a bit east of town. I usually try not to feed my railfan addiction, these days, but occasionally it gets the best of me.
==========
This photograph is an outtake from my 2012 photo-a-day project, 366 Snaps.
Number of project photos taken: 20 & 17
Title of "roll:" Gold Finches and Barns
Other photos taken on 12/26/2012: We attended a family birthday party. I took 53 photographs.
