Goldfinch

May was the only 366 Snaps month with a routine. Most days I'd break out the camera early in the morning, put it somewhere easy to reach (sometimes on the tripod), and check every now and then to see what was occurring in the yard. If things looked interesting, I'd shoot a few pix.

Sometime in the afternoon I'd move the pictures to my laptop, sort through 'em, and prep one or three for publishing.

This goldfinch shot--with a bit of Dame's Rocket for decoration--is one of my favorites for the entire month. But I selected a cute "candid" of a Sparrow parent feeding a fledgling for my project photo.
