These images represent the peak bloom of Calopogon tuberosus orchids in my front yard bog garden. With the pitcher plants pretty much done blooming, this adds a needed touch of color to the garden.

The white form of the Common Grass-pink orchids are now at peak bloom in the front yard Bog Garden. They always bloom about 2 weeks later than the purple ones -- the white ones come from the coastal plain, while the purple ones come from a mountain environment.
