Steve and I are finally home after our grand 3-week trip and what FUN we had! Our truck has a new transmission and everything is fabulous! :) I hope you are doing well, and have completely recovered from your travels back home! :)

I look at this picture and I realise that I'm not very photogenic nowadays!!! I didn't have any make-up on and let's face it, when you are over 71, you need every bit of help to make you look better!!!! LOL

You want to know who needs some help right now? Yours truly has a STY in my left eye and it looks totally horrifying! Can't WAIT for it to go away...it appeared about a week or so ago and is starting to show signs of ebbing away sometime in the next couple of WEEKS...*moan*...I have had these before and boy do I hate them. I'm putting a warm compress on every couple of hours and it really does help but not fast enough!! :P

Thank you so much for your sweet commentary on my blog entry! :) I do remember you mentioning your neighbor who didn't document his trip at all...what a shame. It will all fade away as we both know. Nobody's memory is that good, and as time goes by, our memories change and shift. Ah well, perhaps someday he will learn!

He might be able to give you something to clear it up quickly. Maybe you did something to your eye when you were cycling through the woods or something like that.

Yes I feel very sorry for my neighbour not bothering to take pictures on his "once in a lifetime's achievement". When he gets to my age - another 20 years apparently - he'll realise what he's missed because he'll try and remember it and when he can't, he'll be so annoyed.

Meine Haare waren noch nie so kurz, also ist es ein ziemlicher Schock für mich !!! Ich muss zugeben - ich liebe es wirklich. Es ist so einfach, aufgeräumt zu bleiben.
