Perfect day for rock pool hunters Rock pool left behind by the sea The rocks are plentiful The beach deserted for a while The amazing seascape today Three apple blossoms Three rocks braving the waves Three horses on the moor Three pipes holding her up in the pool Three purple aquilegia Family of three The men were inside the van having a cup of tea There's one again Another one only you have to go a different way They were everywhere Another one coming up Some lovely little Devon cottages on the road Yet another one Lots of bowers across the road Very pretty trip back So many trees giving shade This sort of scenery goes for miles In hot days this shade is very welcome Looking over the beach and seeing the waves crashi… Waves starting to gather because of the wind The rain had stopped but the wind was still there Cargo vessel waiting for the tide to come in enoug… Large vessel in a small channel The pilot had to sound the horn several times with… Large cargo vessel coming in with the tide Good advantage point in the dunes The dunes were lovely and sheltered Some lovely houses near the beach The marina is getting busier and busier Even more people arrived Another beach not known before, getting full of su… Ooops who sailed too close to the beach. LOL Mum and Dad were busy making this sand boat today Water was very warm - loads of people swimming Those marron grasses are sharp. LOL They've been planting more marron grass on the dun… The tide is on its way in Those high clouds show the winds are strong up the… Lovely day for the beach Pippin and Tippi as tiny kittens

Sea spray Gracie, it was too windy for any light fog or mist to stay around

Brilliant John, and there seem to be loads of people who really do enjoy it. Apparently a very big contest of surfing had to be cancelled just down the coast from me because of the high winds. There weren't any big waves for the contest to carry on
