Isisbridge club has replied to Howard Somerville clubHoward Somerville club has replied to Isisbridge clubBut it was satisfying that I finally got this picture which had been on my wish list for ages, to find that I can still hump a heavy tripod and other gear up a hill, and to use the converter which I bought specially and solely to take this picture on the full-frame Sony A7. It was also convenient to do this on my way home from the Cotswolds yesterday, when (at 7pm) the sun was in the right place and low.
If I'd planned it properly I'd have driven to Boar's hill, which is nearer than South Hinksey to the vantage point, and walked from there.
