... vor Jahren konnte man in den Sommermonaten im Säulengang Tango tanzen (oder wenigstens neidvoll zuschauen). Immerhin gibt's das noch: paar hundert Meter weiter, im Monbijoupark ist jeden Sonntag Tango, dienstags Salsa ...

I lived in Trier for nearly nine months in 1986..... I used to train up north with a friend occasionally. Berlin was still divided then.

It was a history lesson in the making. and deeply felt.
