If you are in Kangding (the seat of Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan province of Southwest China), visiting Mugecuo Scenic Resort is a must. If you do not speak Chinese, you'd experience the economic principles and reaching a price by an old way of bargaining where the disadvantage is on your side. At the entrance to the National Park the way further you need to take an eco bus, which will bring you till the Mugecuo Lake. Now you are almost free and can go everywhere you want. You can find shops, boat station, WC near bus stop. But the further you go, the more untouched nature you see. After your walk near Mugeuo lake you can walk freely. There`s very beautiful river with a lot of small waterfalls and a couple of lakes on the way down. You will discover a Chinese way of tourism, trails everywhere are marked by a prefabricated wooden stairs, so it`s safe and comfortable, and a bit stupid. However, it serves the purpose in two ways - domestic tourists expect and like it (represents the civilisation and safety) and bars the masses from crushing all the wilderness by roaming unorganised.
