When I posted this picture yesterday, Monday, March 25th, 2024, I was thinking that with only one support for this bridge, in the middle of the river, that it didn't look very safe if a boat was to hit it.

And now today, Tuesday, March 26th, 2024, a huge container ship has hit the main bridge in Baltimore, Maryland, the Francis Scott Key Bridge, and it totally collapsed, killing motorists that happened to be driving across it when it happened.

Such a sad accident and my condolences go out to all in involved who lost family members.
