A jazzed up screen capture from the 1971 movie "Vanishing Point" along with an overlay from an old discarded library book in my collection.

Ah, yes, "Vanishing Point" with Barry Newman! I knew him mainly from the TV series "Petrocelli".

That kind of movie that no one would watch today because the individual scenes are way too long. But I still like to watch them.

I agree with you on the fact that not many would watch it these days. Their attention spans are too short. And I've been working my way through watching the first season of Petrocelli. Great show!

Ahh, Petrocelli! Did he ever finish building that house? Every week there would be a scene with him bricklaying, yet the wall never got any higher. He’d have been better off buying Jim Rockford’s trailer. Then there was Frank Cannon. I can see him now, sprinting down the street to bring down a baddie - all 280lbs of him. Used to have me on the edge of my seat hoping he wouldn’t have a heart attack before the end credits.

I read somewhere that, even though Petrocelli lasted two whole seasons, he never finished building his house. Petrocelli and his wife did live in that little trailer about the size of Jim Rockford's, though.
