Isle of Skye,
Folder: Scotland
One of Scotland's finest islands
Just Chewin'
One of a flock of inquisitive sheep on the Isle of Skye,
Sadly bright sunlight has bleached one side of the animal however I thought chewing the grass worthy of a posting,
Large for detail.
Light & Shade of Loch Fada,
The Old Man of Storr (see PIP) forms a backdrop to Loch Fada on the Isle of Skye.
The pip has been used as a note on a previous image but worth another look I hope.
The Old Man stands at an elevation of 2,359 feet and at a height of about 160 feet
HFF and a great weekend to everyone
Large please
Sligachan Old Bridge
On the Isle of Skye and this is the Sligachan River, the old bridge and Sgurr nan Gillean which is one of the most northerly peaks on the Black Cuillin Ridge (964m),

The Sky over Skye, HFF
Skye bridge from Kyleakin, Isle of Skye on a changeable day,
Kyleakin Lighthouse is situated at the south-western end of Eilean Bàn. It was built by David and Thomas Stevenson in 1857,
Eilean Bàn (Scottish Gaelic meaning White Island) is a six-acre (2.4 ha) island between Kyle of Lochalsh and the Isle of Skye,
You may to just be able to see the red and green shipping lanes marked on the bridge
HFF and a good weekend
In 16.9 format so large would be appreciated and the fence is on the bridge.
Jetty, HFF
With sheep as it's only inhabitants Staffin Island serves as a backdrop to the fairly modern jetty constructed at Staffin Slipway, Isle of Skye which juts out into Staffin Bay. (almost too many Staffins) me thinks.
Large may be good.
Please take care and stay safe. HFF and a good weekend if you can.
The Welcoming Committee
They also act as grass verge cutters and milk providers,
Large may be good please
HFF from the Old Man (pip)
Another gallery image from the Isle of Skye as just the tip of the Old Man Of Storr can be seen in this view from below the Trotternish Ridge, whilst the pip shows it from the normal viewing direction.
Legend says this 55m high stone is the thumb of a giant who was buried below the ridge,
A large view would be appreciated.
Late Evening
The harbour at Kyleakin, Isle of Skye as the last rays of sunlight fade.
Across the Loch the town of Kyle of Loch Alsh for many years the Isle of Sky ferry crossed here only ending when the Skye bridge was opened in 1995.
Large view please
