From up there you certainly have a magnificent view,
but also the view of the castle and the surrounding beautiful landscape is phenomenal!

A cracking shot Roger............beautifully composed in lovely light. The immediate foreground looks a bit parched, but the remainder of the landscape looks beautifully green and fresh. The heather looks lovely.

The ruins of the castle look very interesting and are very impressively situated up on the top of the hill. I'm surprised that given how long it's been there, no one has actually seems to have been able to confirm that the rumoured tunnels actually exist.

The foreground is a cornfield waiting to be harvested, all this with a lens I bought as pre-owned for about £50.00, however it looks and feels brand new just missing the original packaging,
Re the caves, I have promised myself a rummage around the Internet, to see if anything more can be learned.

A great landscape and having the ruined castle against the sky certainly gives it emphasis. It seems that most of the old Clan castles finished in ruins.
