The end of a warm day as the sun sets across Blue Anchor Bay and behind the edge of Exmoor, but the evening tide will soon arrive and wash the bay clean for another day

Wow! I thought at first this was a monochrome image Roger.

I love the subtle colour tones in the sky and hills and especially the silvery light reflected on the wet sand and mud of the bay, which contrasts nicely with the darker bottom foreground. The frame is very well divided by that row of silhouetted trees. Beautifully captured..!!

Nice comments Keith, thank you, the haze robbed the image of it's colours but I assume the tide was just on the turn as incoming water and breeze almost always drives the haze away,

I love the warm light on the distant hills Roger. It almost seems that the picture is half b&w and half colour, which looks amazing! At first I thought it was Scotland, but pleased to see that it is sunny (sometimes!) Somerset!
