146/366 Loved, and not so loved

146/366 Loved, and not so loved
Saturday challenge..."Take, in the same photo, the worst thing that you hate, and the thing, on the contrary, that you love passionately. You should not say in the comment or in the photo the thing you hate and the thing you like; It will be up to the friends of the group to find the answer."

I don't really hate anything...

OK, so I really love the oil painting by my Dad. You can just see his initials VH bottom right.
It is a copy of The Shadow by Charles Blackman, Australian artist. The Schoolgirl series 1950s.
I don't like the frilly top of the ceramic vase, ironically, a bit too 50s or something. It is a container for citronella oil with space for a candle underneath. I do like the colours and artwork.

Ruebenkraut, buonacoppi, neira-Dan, Valfal and 6 other people have particularly liked this photo

I see it just like you.
Not liking some things is understandable,
but with very few exceptions (which I would never put on a photo),
I can say that I don't really hate anything.

Modern or old style ??? I personally prefer old style as I like objects that have a history ! Beautifully done around the yellow color, Gillian ! Happy Saturday !

Both 50s style I think. I really love the oil painting by my Dad. You can just see his initials VH bottom right.

The ceramic usually lives outside as it is a container for citronella oil with space for a candle underneath. I don't like its frilly top. I do like the colours and artwork.

Unless that colourful ceramic is a spittoon, I don't see much here that is unlikeable.
