Neighbours who probably don't share the same values or views - but who knows?

Google Street view is a handy tool when checking locations and current conditions. Have you noticed that if you look in one direction at a building and then from another, they may have been taken at different dates? As time goes by I guess the visual information is assembled from ever increasing passes through the scenery.

I agree that Google's a handy tool, Phil, but I have noticed similar phenomena -- the view changing from summer to winter as you pass along the street, or from from day to night. The focal length they use can also keep you from getting a view similar to what your eye would have from a certain spot.

I dabbled in black and white photography when I was in the RN, but mainly because I got the film and developing for free :-)) Other than that I just used to take the usual snapshots of family etc.
I've travelled the world.........and I'm ashamed to admit that I have very few photos :-(

When I left the RN in 1998 I realised that I didn't have a hobby, so I took up photography again and slowly but surely became addicted.

That sounds like the way I learned o play guitar. You get into something and realize there's a lot more to it than you'd ever thought.
