The Sunday Challenge: Change

I thought that change in ownership would be a good entry for this challenge. At least, I hope that there will be a change in ownership. This property has been listed for over 3 years. Because land is so expensive, the builder tore down a lovely smaller house and built a hulking boxy monstrosity (not shown) in a neighborhood of charming Victorian and Tudor homes. The house and its weedy lot remain under intermittent construction and are a neighborhood eyesore.

As a bit of irony, the broker, William Ravies, advertises itself as a broker of luxury homes. Note the detailing on the outhouse.

Hope new neighbours will plant and build walls to hide the monstruosity from sight...

A excellent way to ruin the charm of an established neighborhood. Sadly it happens all around the country. Like the title for the portable outhouse!

stay well - laugh a lot

Image title and image, together with your description, actually don't lack a certain comedy or irony. However, if houses are built that don't fit into the environment, it's more than a pity, and a shameful indictment of building authorities, and architects.

I like the humour of your title; as much as I dislike what has happened in that property.
