Unloading in Silverton. There is a depot in Silverton, but probably due to the volume of passengers, the depot isn't used and the trains pull into a loading zone on one of the city streets.

It's not quite as mixed as it looks. Two of the cars (the second passenger car, one further down) are freight flatcars that have been converted to open air cars for those of us (like me) that wanted unobstructed views. The third car down is a former baggage car, converted to snack bar.

BUT, even contemporary American passenger trains look like a random assortment of cars from multiple eras..
