Durango & Silverton Rwy (# 0326)

The fireman on the locomotive next to my train. He chatted easily with other passengers on my train, and had an interesting story. He was from Durango, had been interested in the railroad since grammar school, had managed to get some volunteer work when he was in his early teens, and had just started working (paid) with the railroad after recently graduating from high school.
