Silver City, NM Grant County Courthouse (# 0798)

Silver City, NM Grant County Courthouse (# 0798)
A huge courthouse for the time it was built, and oddly decorated with four identical figures of a young woman. The only information I could find was that it was built in 1930, is considered to be art deco in style, and is faced with terra-cotta tile. While the courthouse was built before New Deal funds were available for such construction, the interior is said to have two murals created by the WPA.
