Los Gatos Creek Park 341x

In the Coastal Range, 16 miles west of Coalinga, along the remote and very little traveled Los Gatos Creek road, you come across this rather elegant looking row of palm trees. They're a complete contradiction to the scattered farms and fairly barren hillsides you've passed. The park is maintained by Fresno county and has a couple of rock structures built in the 60's, though the park has looked to be mostly abandoned the couple of times I've driven past it.
