Bernkastel, Germany in 1969 (056)

When I was stationed in Germany, one of my favorite areas to explore with friends was the Mosel River valley between Koblenz and Trier. In my records I have this as being 'Bernkastel', but checking the web it appears that the correct name is 'Bernkastel-Kues'. Photo is from a slide taken during my military service when I was stationed in Germany (1968 to 1969); restoration of the slides was by a friend. Best viewed as part of the Military Years set.
