Mercedes-Benz Vario buses in Bury St. Edmunds - 23 Oct 2008 (DSCN2519)

Thursday 23 October 2008 (1010) - Where would we have been without the ubiquitous white Plaxton Beaver bodied Mercedes-Benz Vario O 815D?? This candid shot from inside a Mulleys coach (YN05 HBO) parked in the layover bays of Bury St Edmunds bus station shows two such examples.

KF02 ZXX new in May 2002 to Ferguson Mini-Bus Hire of Cleland near Motherwell, Scotland now operated by Simonds of Botesdale. It was setting out on the 1003 Suffolk County Council supported service 337 to Walsham-le-Willows and Stanton.

On the right is R476 GFM, a Plaxton Beaver bodied operated by Coach Services Limited of Thetford. It was new in March 1998 as a demonstrator with Mercedes-Benz and was poised to work the 1015 service 333 to Thetford, also supported by the County Council.
