Tuesday 7 September 2021 (0829) – A sunny and warm morning in the village of Barrow near Bury St. Edmunds.

Mulleys Motorways Optare Solo YJ59 GFZ was operating the 0806 service 312 from Gazeley to Bury, a normal public service. The vehicle had been new to Sargeants Brothers of Kington, Herefordshire.

Following is Vertas (Suffolk County Council) YX63 ZXJ, an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro400D YX63 ZXJ new to Suffolk Norse in December 2013, working dedicated school service BE206 to St. Benedict’s School/County Upper School in Bury St. Edmunds. Suffolk Norse was a partnership created in 2013 between Suffolk County Council, with a 20% stake, and Norfolk County Council, with an 80% stake. The partnership was dissolved in August/September 2021.
